When I am in between client builds I often launch new projects to display my creativity and develop my programming skills in web design. I simultaneously launch social media campaigns around each website to create a following and share the content. Thirty Magazine
ThirtyMag.com was developed as a simple “blog for guys”. Its target audience is “30-ish” males and covers topics from fun to fatherhood. The site currently has seven registered contributors and over 1,400 followers on twitter. The site is fully integrated with Twitter and Facebook. http://thirtymag.com
PrintedProof.com
PrintedProof.com is a social share directory for the print industry. The idea behind the site is to allow creative professionals to share ideas, products, services, and examples of how print “works” amongst the sites following. Anyone is able to register, post, and share with printedproof.com’s 4,500+ followers on social media. Note: PrintedProof.com is currently down for maintenance.
Photocrave.net
Passionate about photography? So are we. Photocrave.net publishes daily photo collections for inspiration. The site is new but gaining huge views from the photo community on twitter, facebook, flickr, and stumbleupon. http://photocrave.net
Wachusite
Wachusite is in the beginning stages of becoming a local social share directory for my community. I created Wachusite.com with the goal of bringing a betterplace to (freely) share information in a more social way to the residents of the Wachusett region in central Massachusetts. http://wachusite.com
